June Field Tour - 54 North Project

Join the Northern Blues Forest Collaborative on an all-day field tour to the 54 North Restoration Project on the Umatilla National Forest, North Fork John Day Ranger District.

Attendees will explore the benefits of cross-boundary work in the region, learn how restoration can support wildlife, watersheds, and First Foods, and hear how monitoring is helping guide restoration decisions.

This tour will:

  • Explore project unique restoration goals, challenges, and objectives.

  • Highlight project monitoring efforts to measure effects on First Foods.

  • Provide input on current and future restoration planning.

*Please bring water, lunch, and appropriate clothes and footwear; the tour will include a fair amount of walking on uneven surfaces. If you need special accommodations, please note those in the registration link below.
